If you log in and notice that a property, building, or report is missing in STRATAFOLIO, it usually comes down to user access permissions. STRATAFOLIO is designed so each user only sees the information they are authorized to view. This protects sensitive financial and ownership data while allowing teams to work more efficiently.

Common Reasons You Can’t See a Property or Report

Access Permissions Not Granted

Your organization’s Super Admin or Admin must assign you access to specific organizations, entities, or assets. If you don’t see a property, it may not have been assigned to you.

👉 Solution: Ask your admin to review your User Permissions under Organizations > Users.

Limited Role Rights

Even if you have access, your role type determines what you can see. For example:

  • A Property Manager may see operational details but not financial reports.
  • An Investor with Restricted Access may only see investment-related information, not organizational data.

👉 Solution: Confirm with your admin which role you’ve been assigned and what that role includes.

Filters Applied in Reports

If you can see some reports but not others, it may be due to filters. For example, if a report is filtered to one entity or asset, other properties won’t appear.

👉 Solution: Review the dropdown filters at the top of reports such as Rent Collection, CAM Reconciliation, or Tenant Insurances. Adjust the filters to expand your view.

Wrong Navigation Path

Reports and data live in different sections of STRATAFOLIO. For example:

  • Owner Dashboard – Accessed from the Dashboards dropdown.
  • Loans Dashboard – Accessed from the Finances dropdown.
  • Tenant Insurances Report – Accessed from the Operations menu.

New Properties Not Yet Assigned

If a new asset or building was recently added, your admin may not have assigned it to your user profile yet.
