How to Help Your Tenants Find and Save the STRATAFOLIO Login Link

Every person who uses STRATAFOLIO logs in at the same address: app.stratafolio.com. That includes owners, administrators, managers, property managers, readers, investors, and tenants. There is no separate website just for tenants. After someone logs in, STRATAFOLIO checks their assigned role and shows them only the pages that role allows.

For tenants, this means they land in their Tenant Portal. There, they can view their lease, see invoices, make ACH payments, upload their certificate of insurance, view files, and submit work orders.

Tenants often accept their invitation once and then forget where to go the next time. When that happens, they email you or call your office to ask for the link. You can prevent most of these requests with a few simple habits. Ask tenants to save the link, include it in your communications, and if you have a website or tenant landing page, add a Tenant Login button that points to app.stratafolio.com.

This article explains why the link works for everyone, how to share it, how to add it to your own website, and how to solve common login problems.

Before a tenant can log in at app.stratafolio.com, a few things need to be in place.

  • The tenant must have a Tenant record with at least one Contact.
  • That Contact must have a valid email address saved in STRATAFOLIO.
  • You must invite the Contact to the Tenant Portal, and the Contact must accept the invitation and create their login.
  • The tenant should make sure emails from stratafolio.com are not going to spam, so they receive the invitation and future notices.

To learn how to add contacts and send invitations, see Managing Tenants and Contacts in STRATAFOLIO.

Where You Invite Tenants and Check Their Login Status

You send Tenant Portal invitations from Hierarchy > Contacts in the left-side navigation menu. The Login Access column on that page shows whether a contact has been invited.

You can also review portal readiness for all your tenants from Operations > Tenants. The Login Access column there shows whether each tenant has access to the Tenant Portal, and Pending means an invite was sent, but the tenant has not finished setting up their login.

Share these simple Tips with Your Tenants

  • On a computer, open app.stratafolio.com, then use the browser’s bookmark or star icon to save the page.
  • On a phone, open app.stratafolio.com in the browser, then use the share or menu option to add the page to the home screen. This creates an icon that works like an app.
  • Save the address in a password manager along with the login email, so both are in one place.

Tenants find links fastest when they see them often. Add app.stratafolio.com to:

  • Your welcome or move-in packet
  • Tenant announcements you send from STRATAFOLIO
  • Lease renewal and onboarding emails
  • Signs or flyers in a shared lobby or mailroom, if you use them

Add a Tenant Login Button to Your Website or Landing Page

If you have a company website or a page for your tenants, you can add a button that sends tenants straight to the login page. This is one of the easiest ways to make the link easy to find, because tenants usually remember your website even when they forget the login address.

The exact steps depend on your website builder, but the process is usually the same:

  1. Log in to the tool you use to edit your website.
  2. Open the page your tenants visit most, such as your home page or a Tenants or Resources page.
  3. Add a button block or button element.
  4. Give the button a clear label, such as Tenant Login or Pay Rent and Log In.
  5. Set the button’s link to https://app.stratafolio.com
  6. Save or publish your changes.
  7. Open your website and select the button to test it. Make sure it opens the STRATAFOLIO login page.

If you do not manage your own website, send the link and your preferred button label to the person or company who does.

STRATAFOLIO uses role-based access. Everyone logs in at the same address, and what they see depends on the role they were given. You do not need to send different links to different people. A tenant, an investor, and your property manager can all use app.stratafolio.com, and each will see only what their role allows.

This is helpful for you as an owner, because you can share one address with everyone. It also protects your information, because the role controls what each person can see, not the link.

What Tenants See When They Log In

When a tenant logs in, they see their Tenant Portal. The Tenant Portal looks different from the view you see as a landlord. From their portal, tenants can:

  • View their lease and other documents you share
  • View and pay invoices, including one-time or recurring ACH payments
  • Upload and update their certificate of insurance
  • View files and upload their own files
  • Read announcements you send
  • Submit work orders that go to your assigned property management staff

Why the Website Button Works So Well

A button on your own website gives tenants a familiar starting point. They do not need to search their inbox for an old invitation or remember a new address. It also makes your business look organized and professional, and it can reduce how often your team gets asked for the link.
